Day 3 at Cardigan

On day 3, we did the Nature Trail. We played a confusing compass game, and on our way there and back, we found a lot of Indian cucumbers. Toby had us do three line transects, the top, bottom, and middle of the mountain. We also did Mystery of the Trees, which is a game where we learned about trees. We saw a really old car that was used to bring skiers up the mountain. When we were trying to eat lunch, lots of bees swarmed us, trying to get our food. We were catching frogs, until it was time to get on the bus and leave. The theme I chose is region. The ski trails are a part of, or a region of Mt. Cardigan. Also, Cardigan is a part of Alexandria, which is the town it is in.
