The absolute location of a hemlock tree that we saw while hiking up Mount Cardignan is N 43 degrees, 39 minutes, and 8.7 seconds. It is also at W 71 degrees, 51 minutes, 16.0 seconds. The elevation is 1,265 feet. The relative location is that it's near the summit of Mount Cardigan. It's also near the steep ski trails. The absolute location of an Indian Cucumber that we found as soon as we started walking is N 43 degrees, 38 minutes, and 50.8 seconds. The longitude is W 71 degrees, 53 minutes, and 27.6 seconds. The elavation of this specific Indian Cucumber is 1,614 feet. The relative location is thats it's near the AMC Lodge.

Cardigan has physical and cultural traits. The physical part is things that are actually there. For example, the Maplock tree, glacial tarn, glacial erratic of quartz covered in lichen, mushrooms, Welton Falls, Bailey Brook, the bare rock summit, Indian cucumbers, and the caves are all physical parts of Cardigan. Also, one thing that was not at Cardigan is oak trees.

The cultural part of Cardigan is anything that has do with people. For example, windmills, the firetower, the old car, all the bridges, the cabin that belongs to the Warden, the helicopter, the fire pit, anything has to do with the AMC Lodge, and trash on the trails. There are a few things that were in between cultural and physical. The pond, apple tree, and the rock walls are all in between.

We were at Cardigan for 3 days. Sunday (Day 1) , Monday (Day 2) , and Tuesday (Day 3) .
