You will have to figure it out, think about the notes we took and discussed, and ... re-read page 55 to answer this well). It affects it because some areas of the planet will not get direct sunlight. They will get indirect sunlight which means it will be dark and cold at the poles.
6. How does this relate to the Voyages of Columbus? Answer, and put in a link to YOUR Columbus Wind Project. When Columbus first went on his journey he went south because of the earth turning. On his journey back he started by going north and went a full 9 days with barely moving. Then he went east.
