Introduction Paragraph- Guadeloupe is a island located in the Lesser Antillies it is an island and is 629 miles squared. It's flag is Black, Yellow and Green. Guadeloupe is an island discovered by Christopher Columbus. Current Day Guadeloupe has beautiful beeches palm trees and crystal clear ocean waters. It also features many resorts and hotels on the ocean side. There is also an airport called Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe. You can get a direct flight to Guadeloupe from many airports including New York (JFK Airport) Boston (Logan Airport) Miami and more.

Facts Paragraph- Guadeloupe is a continental island. It has many beaches, palm trees, and isolated plants. Many citizens from Guadeloupe also famr vegatables. Of these isolated plants, Many types include Pineapples, bananas, oranges, lemons and lime plants all grow on the island. Many flowers also grow here like Hibiscus, Alpina, Birds of Paradise and Torch Gingers all grow on this island paradise.

Brief History Paragraph- Guadeloupe was founded in 1493 by Christopher Columbus. Christopher Columbus also discovered the Bahamas, as he landed on Hispanolia and sailed all around the Bahamas, now an American possesion. He also discovered many islands in the Lesser Antillies. Guadeloupe is 629 miles squared. The Inhabitants were called the Arawaks, They were great fishermen. And later learned to farm on the araible soil. Guadeloupe is an archipelago of nine inhabited islands, including the butterfly shaped islands of Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, Marie-Galante, La Desirade and Iles des Saintes.

Cool and Interesting Paragraph- Guadeloupe features many tourist attractions like The Zoo de Guadeloupe, The only zoo in guadeloupe, and has a very jungle feel, with an aerial skywalk and many animals. There two new animals are Howler Monkeys and Grey Camins The skywalk is 20 meters or about 60 feet high. There is also Pointe des Chateaux a beach that is very popular to the tourists and citizens to the islands. Also there is Carbet Falls, the biggest waterfall on Guadeloupe and has many tourists there all year round.
