Mount Cardigan Trip Day One

Day 1

On day one I woke up ready to go. My bags were packed and my food was ready. I had eaten a small breakfast of apple-cinnamon oatmeal. I had gotten all of my stuff in my dad's car and we left to drop my little brother off at school. After we dropped him off we got me to the school and unloaded all of my stuff into the trailer. I met up with my friends and then got on the bus. After we waved goodbye we were off. This is where one of the 5 themes of geography comes into play. I'm doing MOVEMENT because we moved from Hopkinton NH to Alexandria NH. It felt like a long ride until we got to the lodge. The bus was going really fast. Once we got there we unloaded our stuff and got to meet the people who were going to take us hiking. We ate our lunch got changed and started to hike. We went to Welton Falls on day one. It was a 3 mile hike in total. We stopped and sketched on the rocks and caught bugs in the water. Once we got to the falls we sketched and hung out on the rocks. The hike back wasn't bad and we got back really early. We had a delicious dinner that was tacos (yum!). After that we did a night hike where we were blindfolded and held on to each other while we walked. We played some games then went in and heard a story. The decapitated part wasn't bad if you think about a certain ghost from a certain series. That pretty much sums up day one!
