The peak of Cardigan mountain is a wonderful view. The summit neighboring it is called firescrew that mountain is a little bit smaller than Cardigan mountain. The top of Cardigan is at a elevation of 3150 ft. and a latitude of 43 degrees 38 minutes 58 seconds and a longitude of 71 degrees 54 minutes 50.7 seconds. At the top of Cardigan there is a fire tower. Directly next to the fire tower is the geometric marker for Cardigan. The top of Cardigan has lots of carvings dating back to the 1800’s and a few from the 1700’s this shows that people from a long time ago hiked the mountain so the mountain is a piece of history. The AMC Cardigan lodge is located at the base of the mountains is located at an elevation of 1376 ft and a latitude of 43 degrees 38 minutes 58.8 seconds and a longitude of 71 degrees 52 minutes 40.7 seconds. From the lodge you can see the fire tower on top of Cardigan mountain. That is the location of Cardigan mountain and the AMC lodge at the base of the mountain.
Cardigan as a place is very cultural and physical the physical part of cardigan is that it has a alpine bog at the top of the mountain the some other physical parts of cardigan are the rock formations on the summit of mount cardigan there is a big cliff and the top is a bare rock summit this means that it is to high up for there to be any trees growing and if there was a tree growing it would not get taller than your waist. The other physical features of cardigan mountain is that Welton Falls is a really far drop and some of the water that goes over the ledge of the waterfall is from the top of the mountain. The physical themes of Cardigan are really cool but place is not just about physical themes there are cultural themes to.
The Cultral place of Cardigan moutain is really cultral because the food there was made by the people of cardigan moutain the lodge is also cultral it is cultral because the cultral of it isthe people the people stay there. the other cultral part of Cardigan moutain is the Maplock tree and the glacial tarn. that is the culral part of cardigan moutain.
