Wind and water carry rainfall and the sun's warmth around the world to create different climates.

2. Reading Check Questions on 54- What is the difference between weather and climate?

The difference between Climate and weather is that, weather is unpredictable changes within the air that takew place over a short period of time while, climate is a predictable pattern of weather in an area over a long period of time.

The direction the wind blows is from west to east, over North America

4. Applying Map Skills Question 2. What winds did European sailors use to get to South America and the islands north of it?

They used westerlies which is warm wind.

5. Answer the Reading Check Question on page 55- How does the tilt of the Earth affect climate? (This is a difficult, tricky, complicated question. You can NOT just copy the answer out of the textbook. Because the answer is NOT EXACTLY found in the textbook. The tilt of the earth effects the eraths climate because when the earth tilts, the suns rays come from a different angle so that would change the climate. Also when the earth tilts sometimes you can't see the sun so that also can affect the earths climate.

6. How does this relate to the Voyages of Columbus? Answer, and put in a link to YOUR Columbus Wind Project.

They relate because, this shows how the winds work and the textbook shows how ships can sail with the wind.
