On day 1 of Cardigan, we went to Welton Falls. On our way we stopped at a river and tested the water, and we sketched striders and saw them swim around. After we sketched, and tested, we started hiking again. We started hiking up this very narrow trail. It was so steep down the side of it that, Peyton slipped. He was fine though, don't worry. After that, we kept hiking. As we kept hiking, the trail got wider and wider. Peyton didn't fall on this trail. After hiking for about 10 minutes, which felt like 10 hours, we finally made it to Welton Falls. There was these old metal poles that used to be a chain, but it kind of fell apart. This is an example of Human Environment Interaction. We followed a trail down a very small hill and then we saw it, Welton Falls. It wasn't like I imagined, but it was still pretty cool. We went down to the rocks and sat down. The falls were very dry so there wasn't as much water as there usually is. We sat down and had some spicy mix. It was so good! After we had a snack we packed up and started it head out. On our way back from Welton falls we saw this really cool tree, well trees. We saw a Maple tree and a Hemlock tree, combined together. They were twisted together like a spiral. That tree was an example of regions. Tomorrow is, Monday September 26
