Mount Cardigan Trip

Day 2, Monday

On day 2 the first thing I did was get dressed into warm clothing and I packed my backpack. For breakfast I had bacon and eggs with orange juice. We next cleaned up breakfast and then made our lunches. The most adventurous and tiring part of the day was taking a very, very, very long hike up Mt. FireScrew, and then down Mt. Cardigan. We took the Manning trail. On the hike we drew many sketches, and made 6 waypoints. At the top of Mt Cardigan we saw many carvings in the rocks. This was an example of HUMAN ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION because humans changed the rocks by putting indents into them, creating words. Another example of human environment interaction would be how steep some of the rocks were. This affected how easily humans could climb the rocks. On the hike we took many pictures to remember how pretty the views were.At the end of the night we had a bonfire. It was really fun because we sang songs, and all the counselors told stories! After the bonfire was over, put on our pajamas and Mr. Woolner told us a few stories that his brother wrote.
