Location

The exact location of Cardigan lodge is 744 Shem Valley Rd Alexandria, New Hampshire 03222. The latitude of Cardigan lodge is 43 degrees north, 38 minutes and 58.5 seconds. The longitude of Cardigan lodge is 71 degrees west, 52 minutes and 40.5 seconds. The elevation of Cardigan lodge is 1,374 feet. To the left of the lodge is a small field, followed by a campfire site. To the right of the lodge contains forests and trees, and if you go down even farther, there is a waterfall. There is also a field full of solar panels! In the front of the lodge there is a small parking lot with trees in front of that. The Cardigan lodge is a location for plants and animals to live peacefully!

Place

Cardigan Mountain is both special and different in many ways. One being that the cardigan summit is both cold and windy. On the hike up Fire Screw, there are very cool overhanging rocks. One very special thing about getting close to the summit was that there were flagging trees. Those were very unusual! On day 2 the cave by the waterfall was very cool, and slippery! These are all physical features.

Cardigan Mountain also has cultural features such as trail markers to show you where to go. Especially on the nature trail. It also had very interesting trees such as a scotch pine! One of my favorite parts was the cairnes. I also thought the carvings in Mount Cardigan were very creative and fun to trace! All of these things are very special and different.

My experience Cardigan over the three days was great. I had alot of fun on Sunday September 25, Monday the 26, and Tuesday the 27!
