Yellow Group d2 b3
I awoke in the morning and packed my bags because it was my last day here. We were leaving the Mt. Cardigan region today and headed back home to the greater Concord region. I packed to go hiking because we were hiking the lower region of the Mt. Cardigan area. This is called Welton Falls. We all went down stairs for hot coco. We had a light breakfast; everyone was quite tired so it was quieter than usual. We had to go pretty fast today because we had to be back by 12 o’clock for the bus back home. We took off down the trail and made good time. We were at the end of the trail by about 10 o’clock. The falls were beautiful; they had a stunning look to them with the water cascading down the rocky cliffs. We hiked up out of the lower region, just in time for the bus. As we rode the bus out of the Mt. Cardigan Region and back into Merrimack County, we all felt that this was a great field trip. Our first sleepaway field trip was a success and I think that we learned a lot about nature and ourselves.
