Day Three at Cardigan: Regions
On the third day of Cardigan, I woke up again at about 6:30, and we had another really good breakfast. This time, we had no Ort! After breakfast, it was time for us to go on our last hike :( I went on a beautiful nature trail that was very relaxing and quiet. Areas along this walk is an example of Regions (the trees/wooded areas) After that, I peed in the woods for the third time on that trip, and I did not enjoy that very much at all. What I did enjoy though was the pond study. At the AMC Lodge, my group drew pictures of the pond and of the critters that we caught. We also rooted around in the mushy muck looking for anything cool. I didn't really find anything very interesting other than a dead bug and an egg of some sort. After the pond study, my group ate lunch on the lawn. Apparently bees like peanut butter, because they were buzzing all around me going after my food!
After a short day of fun, it was time to go home. On the way back to Hopkinton, I sat with Tessa in the front of the bus this time. I was very tired from not getting very good sleep the last 2 nights, so I fell asleep on her shoulder...ish. When we got back to the Hopkinton Middle High School, I was greeted by my adorable dog Bridget and my Dad. I had a lot of fun at Cardigan, but I missed my family a lot while I was gone, so it was good to be back agian!
