Cardigan day 3

Blue Group

When we woke up we went down for breakfast, then made lunches for hiking. Later, while hiking, we came across a point where we had to cross the river. After all crossing the big rocks, we moved on to our destination; the waterfalls. Arriving, we had to descend a steep set of root stairs. We saw the waterfall with a steady stream of water and tiny water falls beside it. This water rushed down into the Fowler River.

We went down to sketch and saw a brook trout swimming down stream. While hiking back, I thought about all plant knowledge I learned from the 3 days here. We learned other things too like the ORT report and campfire songs. I think we may have even brought new knowledge to them. Finally, after lunch we gathered our stuff, said our goodbyes and left on the bus back to Hopkinton. Cardigan was a great overall experience. Home Page
