human environment interaction
On the 2nd day of Cardigan, we went to climb Cardigan Mountain. We had breakfast then head off. When we first got to Firescrew, there were tons of false summits and steep places. Once we finally got to the top, we stopped and ate near the Alpine bog. Finally reaching a sign marked Firescrew Mountain Summit. We all admired the view until we saw a helicopter, we waved to it and it started to fly away, But then out of our surprise, it landed about 300 ft away from us! This loud noise affected the environment by scaring the wildlife. When the helicopter left we saw a rabbit run back to its home.
On the top of Cardigan, there were rock trail markers called karrins there was also a firetower, it made sure to call the forest rangers if they saw smoke in the forest indicating fire. Not far down the trail, we saw a fire warden's cabin. As we descended, we traveled down a ski trail. This was man made and cleared out a path in the ferns. Half way down that trail we spotted a tiny hut holding a toboggan in case any body got injured. We followed the painted on yellow blazes until we arrived at the lodge. The last day is Friday..
