Absolute & Relative Location

During our trip to Cardigan, we hiked and explored lots of places. On the 2nd day, one of the places we went was Cardigan Mountain the latitude and longitude were, N: 43 degrees 3" 59.0 W: 71 degrees 52" 52.2 At the summit, We were surrounded by a bunch of tiny pools most likely from rainfall. It overlooked millions of trees of different colors. There was also a fire tower on top.

We arrived at Cardigan after a long bus ride. We started off playing a fun game then began making ourselves at home. I shared a bunk with 3 of my friends. While hiking the 2nd day, my group and I saw a helicopter land close to us. When we got to the top of Mount Cardigan, there was a fire tower, this was related to what we saw descending the trail; fire warden's cabin. As we found a place to sketch and sat down we saw windmills in the distance. On day 3 while trail we discovered an abandoned cellar and how quickly nature took it over.

The cellar was surrounded by stones and even filled with a few yellow birches and ashes. Moss had created a soft layer all stones in the old wall. Not unlike the rocks covered in algae at the river. The rocks at Welton Falls are very big. There were even a couple of cool caves around. There, while sketching, we saw a brook trout. There was no fish (we found) in the Alpine Bog on top of Firescrew. The bog was very interesting because there are only of them in New Hampshire. We where at Cardigan for an overall 3 days on a Wednesday., Thursday. and Friday.
