1. Write down the main idea of the chapter "Climate" here.

"The main idea is that wind, water, and sun all create different climates." I think this means that depending on the wind, water, or sun the climate will change, either in a good or bad way.

2. What is the difference between weather and climate?

The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is, unpredictable changes that happen in a short period of time and climate is a predictable weather pattern over long periods of time.

3. In which general direction does the wind blow over North America?

The general direction that the wind blows over North America is East.

4. What winds did European sailers use to get to South America and the islands north of it?

European sailors used the Northeasterly winds to get to south america and the islands above it.

5. How does the tilt of the Earth affect climate?

The tilt of the earth affects climate because when the earth tilts the sun hits different places of the earth at different times, and over time scientists can observe the places where sun rays always hit, and where sun rays rarely hit.
