My Short, But Sweet Trip to Cardigan

At our field trip in Alexandria NH, we got the opportunity to hike to the top of Mt. Cardigan and Firescrew! When I was there I stayed at the AMC Lodge, in room 201 with my friends Cailey, Hadley, Olivia, and Riley. Throughout the trip I saw many different plants, some being: Beech trees, New York ferns, Indian cucumbers, and Eastern hemlocks! On day two my group hiked to the summit of Cardigan, and Firescrew! The summit of Cardigan had a location of North 43 degrees 64' 97.9", and West 71 degrees 91' 48.0". On day three my group hiked up to Welton Falls, throughout the day we saw many exciting things, for example, my group spotted quite a few Indian cucumbers, and we had the chance to dig them out of the ground and taste test them! Overall the Cardigan trip was amazing, and I had a blast!
On the Mount Cardigan field trip there were quite a few of physical and cultural places . An example of a physical place was, Welton Falls. Welton Falls is a waterfall that we hiked to on Day 3. I know that Welton Falls is a physical place because it was naturally made, and it wasn't made by humans. Overall, Welton Falls was beautiful and I would love to go back!
An example of a cultural place is the AMC lodge. The AMC lodge is the lodge that we stayed in throughout the cardigan field trip. I know that this is a cultural place because, it was made by humans, and humans stay there. The AMC lodge is located at the bottom of Cardigan. The lodge was a place where we would sleep, eat, play games, and read books! Every part of the trip that we weren't hiking we were at the lodge.
We were at Cardigan for 3 days. Sunday September 25, Monday September 26, and Tuesday September 27 . On Sunday my group hiked the nature trail. On Monday my group hiked Cardigan and Firescrew. On Tuesday we hiked to Welton falls. Overall, I loved every minute of every day!
