Day 2: Movement

Yesterday was non stop moving from one place to the next, give or take the few stops in between for drawings and snack breaks. Today was gonna be even more moving. First from jumping out of bed to the bathroom to the couch. From the couch it was straight to breakfast then you pack for the days hike. Once packed we proceeded back down stairs to pack our lunch and get the daily schedule then we were off!

Andy took us a way only 1 or 2 other groups took and it was really interesting. We had to cross over an old bridge well we were walking. We ended up stopping their to get a better view at the water and potential things in it. My friend Zach and I walked along the muddy sand onto a big fallen over log that Zach almost managed to fall off. After our long break we decided to continue our hike up the mountain.

As we neared the top of of Firescrew we came to this big vertical rock we had to climb up more than once a vertical gigantic rock. Finally after 20 minutes and 2 breaks later....we reached the top of Firescrew! We took a couple group pictures while we were their but also we could barely see the lodge. It was crazy how much we hiked in a couple hours but still a few more minutes and we would be at the top of Cardigan. Finally hear; the top of Mount Cardigan! Just to stand at the top and admire the beautiful view was an amazing experience. To realized I went from school, to the lodge, to Firescrew, and now be standing here is amazing. That day shortly came to an end with the nice relaxing walk down the mountain after ward and nice cozy skits by the fire. Day 2 was alot of movement and going from one place to another yet having a great time with everyone even though it was alot of work.
