My First day at Mt.Cardigan

Day 1 Human Environment

On the first day I went to Welton Falls. We hiked on trails that had yellow markers showing use where to go.At one point on the trail there was a huge tree that fell over so we had to go around it. Later after dinner we went for a night "hike" that was very scary, because it was dark. The dark made us all walk slower and more cautiously.The night "hike" was NOT fun, this is because it was dark and eery.

The first night we learned about ort. Ort is not a good thing. Ort is leftover food on your plate. To help benefit the environment (human environment interaction) they did not want us to have an ort. There was also a road at the end of the trail. It was a dirt road and only one vehicle drove by while we were stopped there. The first day was the best day.
