Day 1 Of My Cardigan Trip
Day 1. The first thing we did when we got to cardigan was get off the bus and put all of our bags outside in front of the AMC lodge. Then an instructor took us around to the back of the lodge and we played some fun games outside and got to now the instructors. After the games were over we were divided up into our hiking groups. We were told to bring our stuff up into our rooms and set up our sleeping stuff. Once done everybody got there hiking gear on and met with their groups to have launch. After we ate our bag launches my group walked a short nature trail. On the trail we drew lots of plants trees and backgrounds. The theme of this hike was Human and Environment Interaction because we would cross bridges and draw the area around them. Another example si the lodge itself people built it because of the weather. We saw hobble bush, American beach and The New York Ferns. When we got back to the lodge we split our group into two and played a compass scavenger hunt. After that we had lunch and went for a night hike it was fun and we played games.
