5. Answer the Reading Check Question on page 55- How does the tilt of the Earth affect climate?

The sun’s rays hit closest to the equator which makes these places warmer and always having a hot climate. As the Earth moves, different parts tilt towards the sun. When the North Pole is tilted towards the sun the Northern Hemisphere is warmer, which is when we have summer and have hotter days. Then when the South Pole is tilted towards the sun we have winter and the climate is cold days.
