My Cool Trip To Cardigan

(Day 3) Region
On the third day at Cardigan Mountain, my group led by Fern went to Welton Falls. Welton Falls is located in Alexandria NH. On our way down the path we noticed it was wet, there was lots of dirt, rocks, grass, and cucumber roots. We picked some Indian Cucumber Roots, and they tasted so good. When we got to the falls we had a snack break and took a waypoint. On our way back down we took more way points, and transects. We also played a game of camouflage. We had to hurry down so we could make it on time for the bus, and for the soccer kids so they could make it to their game. Once we got to the school we all got to go home and settled back in. I had a lot of fun at cardigan and I hope I go back to the lodge again someday.
