Day 2 of My Awsome Trip To Cardigan!

Human EnviromentInteraction: On day 2 at Cardigan Mountain in my group with Fern, we climbed mount Cardigan. We saw rocks, lots of dirt, weeds. At the top of Firescrew we saw lots of mountains, lakes, and other fire towers. On the trail we discussed how people made the trails so we could climb up the mountain safer. But with that people would actually go out on the trails and map out the trail or the start and where it would end, or loop around to. Later that night we had dinner and we had bacon chicken, salad, veggies, and fruit. After dinner we had some free time to take showers, or hangout in the lodge. After a little free time we got to go outside meet our group leaders, and go see the stars but to get where we were going to see the stars we had to be blind folded. The lesson was mainly to see how owls see in the dark. We learned new owl calls to see if we got any response but other groups were too loud. After the weird experience we talked about the things we saw in the woods, like on our way down from cardigan we saw a cabin that people could stop and sleep, but of course it was runned down and was no longer in use. After discussing that we got to go to our rooms, and go to bed, or maybe even talk for awhile.
