Going to Cardigan

The top of Mount Cardigan is located at N 43 degrees 38 minutes 58.2 seconds W 071 degrees 54 minutes 50.9 seconds. By bus the lodge is about an hour and fifteen minutes away from Hopkinton Middle/High school. It takes about 4 and a half hours (maybe) to climb Mount Cardigan, including breaks. The elevation is 3,155 above sea level. The relative location of Mount Cardigan is just West of Newfound lake in the town of Alexandria, New Hampshire. Mount Cardigan is also located in northern part of New Hampshire. The addres is 774 Shem Valley Rd.

Some physical properties of Mount Cardigan are that there are a lot of spruce trees, puddles, alpine bogs, and there are also lots of giant rocks. The summit of Cardigan is bare granite. Also there are hobble bushes, Welton Falls, beech trees, roots, fallen trees and lastly indian cucumbers.

Some cultural things about Cardigan are the helicopters that fly over it, the fire tower, and the AMC Lodge. Some more cultural things about Cardigan are the granite writing, trails and the fire warden. Finally there are campsites and trail markers.

We were at Cardigan for three days, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
