The Most Amazing Fantastic Mt.Cardigan Trip

Day 3 at Cardigan

On day 3 our last day at Cardigan, we got up and I started packing. Maddy, Kaitlyn, and I had to go down 15 minutes early because we had to set breakfast up with Andy and the rest of our group. We had french toast for breakfast and maple syrup. Humans Interact with the Enviornment by tapping Maple Trees and making it into maple syurp. After breakfast, we had to make our lunches for the hike and Andy gave me two cookies! I made a turkey and cheese with mustard on a wrap. Everyone went back up to their rooms and we packed a little more and got ready for the day. When we went downstairs we had to bring our things down and put them in the trailer.

Next, the 7 Spartans (my group) all got together with our group and we started out on our hike. It was on the Nature Trail. Humans change this environment by making the trail and putting the trail signs up to show what trail is which. It was a little chilly and the Environment changes Humans by the temperature outside making us take off or put on layers. We went out and there were log bridges that humans made for the environment and that is how they interacted. We stopped at Bailey Brook and it was really cool. We got to walk under this bridge and walk through it. That is another example of Human Environment Interaction by humans making the bridge and the water goes under it.

After the bridge we did a solo hike which was when we started walking then the next person went two minutes after them. At the intersection you stopped and waited for the next person to come and then you tell them which way to go. After we all met up we stopped and ate lunch. We did another solo hike until we made it to the place where my group always meets up at. Then we did an activity involving lava and teamwork. Andy then gave us m&ms and told us about our behavior and good actions the past two days. Finally, we walk back to the bus and headed out. Everyone waved and Andy dabbed for us! That was my day 3 trip to Cardigan.
