Climate is what happens over a course of a long time.

The wind goes mostly to the east.

The tilt of the earth affects climate because of the sun. Different times of the year means different climates and weather. When the sun is close to a part of the earth than that part is going to be warmer than the other parts of the earth. For instances, seasons, we have different seasons when it is summer we are closer to the sun which makes it warmer. When it is winter we are further away from the sun and it is colder.
