On the first day of cardigan we did a lot of things, like eating tacos, playing games and going on a night hike. On the way there we took the bus and that is movement because we traveled from Hopkinton to the AMC lodge. Some other things that we did include getting settled in our room with our bunk mates and learned that I was in Ferns group, (the best group). When we first got there, we all gathered for a night hike. The night hike was fun and it was kinda creepy. When people would throw an acorn or make a noise that sounded like a animal in the woods. Also during the night hike we wend around the campfire but it was was not lit. Then we played some games based on different kinds of animals species. After that we ate dinner and hung out in our rooms til it was dark, and we went over some owl noises and we tried to get the owls to respond but they did not. When we went back to the AMC lodge we had to walk in a conga style of line so that we did not fall and so that we didn't get lost. It was important to stay together in the woods so that we did not get separated from the group. After the night hike we went up to our bunk rooms and relaxed until Mr. Woolner told us a creepy story about Blackbeard the Pirate and his life. When the story was over we talked until we fell asleep.
