1. Write down the main idea of the chapter "Climate" here.

"Wind and water carry rainfall and the sun's warmth around the world to create different climates." This means to me that climate is controlled by some of the natural things of earth.

2. Reading Check Questions on 54- What is the difference between weather and climate?

Whether is the changes that you can not predict in air that take place over a short period of time versus Climate is the usual, weather that you can predict in an area over a long period of time.

The wind general blows North East over North America.

4. Applying Map Skills Question 2. What winds did European sailers use to get to South America and the islands north of it?

European sailors used the Northeasterly trade winds.

The tilt of the earth has to do with climate because of the direct and indirect sunlight which cause climate changes.

6. How does this relate to the Voyages of Columbus? Columbus Wind Project.

The relates to the project because columbus used the glodel winds while he was sailing to "Asia".
