The cardigan lodge is in the town of Alexandria, New Hampshire in the United States of America. North-east of Newfound Lake, and east of the town orange. Cardigan AMC Lodge is across from a small a pond and surrounded by selvel mountains . A small parking lot for visitors and hikers, sits in front of the building. The lodge is white with gray trimming, with two chimneys.

There are many physical fetures on mount Cardigan. Like the bare rocks on the summit, or the stagnant water puddles sitting in the indents in the rock on top of the mountain. Special and different natural features bush that grows throughout the mountain of cardigan. Like the hempel bush nowhere else in the world. Or the indian cucumber beside the trail that children hikers enjoy snacking one one spruce trees that take over the woods, and grow on the summit, Or the trees that have fallen into middle of the tralis block hikers way.

But what about the cut down trees that act as steps helping you climb up the high, hills there on purpose, paced there by humans. The trails steped on and beaten in. Cultural place things put there by us. Somethings you would never expect to be caused from us, like the pond across from the lodge, it was man made. Or the apple trees throughout the mountain planted by the staff. As well as the obvious stuff, like the fire tower on the summit of cardigan there to watch out for forest fires and protect the woods.

we were there for 3 days, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
