I woke up early in the morning to get ready for the big hike. After getting dressed, my room members walked downstairs with me. Once we got downstairs, we saw other people drinking hot chocolate so we went to grab a cup too. Then after socializing with friends we got called to have breakfast. We had bacon, muffins, scrambled eggs, and some fruit. It was delicious! Next we got up from the breakfast table and walked over to a large table to pack our lunch. There was sandwhiches, granola bars, apples, and cookies. We grabbed our packed lunch and threw it into our fully packed bag. Then I went downstairs to put on my hiking boots. After that I was ready to go on the hike.

We met up at the same spot as we did the first day, our group leader Grechen, checked to see if we were all there and then we left. We had never been on this trail to go up to the top of Firescrew. The hike was long and uphill most of the time, sometimes it flattened out. We stopped to sketch and took a couple snacks out to eat. After which felt like a while we reached the very top of the steep mountain. We reached the top at 10:36am(we started to hike at 9am). We moved very quickly up the mountain. The next mountain we were starting to hike was over the saddle and up to Cardigan, where we had our lunch. Our movement was a great amount that day already. It was very windy on the top of Cardigan, and cold. After our lunch we went to take a picture up where there were pools of water. On the top of the mountain there was a fire tower, it was pretty cool to see. Next we went to our third mountain which was called, South Peak. On the top of South Peak we had some trail mix and then moved on to Rimrock. On the top of Rimrock we started to hear a loud noise, which turned out to be a helicopter which we saw seconds later. There was also a small rock wall people had made before we came. The last mountain we hiked to was Orange Mountain. The hike down from Orange Mountain had rivers, overgrown roots, lots of downhill but then we finally made it all the way back down to the lodge. There was a lot of movement that day.

After hiking, mostly everyone took showers to get clean. Soon after that dinner came. It was lasnya, which was so flavor full. After dinner, everyone went out and gathered by the campfire, where we sang songs, did dances, and had a lot of fun! We walked inside to the warmth of the lodge, ready to be read a story by Mr. Woolner. After the thrilling stories we all went upstairs to go to bed.
