Location: When my class went up to Cardigan mountain, we went to the address 774 Shem Valley Rd, Alexandria, NH. We traveled an hour from Hopkinton to arrive at the AMC Cardigan lodge which has the latitude of N 43 degrees 38 minutes 58.3 seconds, and the longitude of W 071 degrees 52 minutes 40.2 seconds. It is 8.9 miles from the center or Bristol, NH. It is located near Cannon, NH. Plus about 13 miles from Newfound Lake. Lastly it has about 5-6 mountains surrounding it including Cardigan. That is where Cardigan mountain is located.

Physical: At Cardigan Mountain, I saw a lot of cool things while hiking. I went to Welton Falls and saw a hangover. Our group had to hike over, overgrown roots, we also saw a hempel tree and a hawthorn bush. But when we hiked up to Mt. Cardigan, we saw even more. We saw lots of spruce trees. On top of the mountain and on the way up, we saw lots of bare summit rock, a lot of loose rocks, and puddles on top of Mt. Cardigan. Thats what makes Mt. Cardigans physical traits special.

Cultural: At the AMC lodge, and up on the trails, there is a lot of broken down things humans made. The very first thing that they made were probably the trails. They have old ski trails and mountain trails. The ski trails people still use today. Up where the ski trails are there is a old rusty car and a old ski lift. While at the ski trails, you could walk over a rock wall that humans made many years ago. Other things that people made at Mt. Cardigan were now falling over fences, campsites, underground bunkers, and a crew bridge. On top over Cardigan some people saw a helicopter and even the firetower. But what was most unique was the carvings of people's names in the rock on top of Cardigan.

We were at Cardigan for three days, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday .
