The Outstanding Day 3

September 29, 2016

It was the last day before we went to move from the lodge to home again. that shows movement because you are moving from one place to another. We woke up to a knock on the door. As we woke up he girls in my room cleaned up and put our bags in the trailer but still put our hiking gear on. We went downstairs to eat some french toast and delicious fruit. When we were all filled up we packed a lunch and were off to the nature trail with Mr. Woolner because T.J had to be somewhere else that day. We got to do many sketches and learn about a lot of different kind of trees. When we past a spot of a deadline of trees and an indian wall. Then Mr. Woolner decided to do a mystery of the trees with us. We went up and down hills finding all the different trees located around the campsite. Tom also found a ginormous mushroom thing that was very poisonous apparently. After that we went up a big hill with many firms everywhere. Once my group got up the hill there was an old broken car and a machine. All of us had figured out that the steep hit was a little ski hill at one period at a time. Also that the machine was operated to bring skiers up the hill. There was a road that lead behind the car so that also had brought skiers up to the hill. That shows movement because you got from the ground up to the hill a way and then you move back down and up again and back down. When we got on the hill we ate lunch and sketched a little. Then we walked from the hill to the lodge so we could get on the bus. Finally, but sadly, we got on the bus and drove back home. My voice sounded terrible from hiking everyday and I was sick, but I still went to soccer practice. The air and temperature was very different when we were at the summit and at the soccer field.
