The Fantastic Day 2

I woke up to the tap of Louise at my shoulder, it was time to wake up. When I got dressed and went downstairs hot cocoa was at a table, I had a ton because it was delicious. We waited a little bit before breakfast and had eggs and bacon, it was okay. After we heard that Toby was sick so we got a new leader named T.J. That day was the day we were going to hike Mount Cardigan, we started hiking for 10 minutes and then we stopped to play a fun game. We hiked and hiked and hiked till we got to P.J. ledge, that was where we were going to eat lunch. It was beautiful, the regions of so many things were everywhere. There were spruce regions, hemlocks, birches, and more, there were so many regions of trees that you could see. Once we were done eating everyone packed up and then there was no stopping untill we got to the top of the mountain, the summit. Up there was so cool, in the distance our lodge look like a little ant and I felt like I was at the top of the world, we took many pictures of everything and everyone on the summit. On the very top was a little tiny baby spruce tree, Then we went to the summit of firescrew and saw a Merlin. My group got home last and 45 minutes late, it was terrible. But we still had time to shower and have dinner with everyone. We ate amazing lasagna and bread for dinner, again my table with no ORT. After dinner Mr. Woolner told us another story and we went to bed excited for the last night but sad of the last day.
