Day one is when we arrived to the lodge at cardigan from the long bumpy bus ride. When we got there our class went to the backyard of the lodge to play a game. Once we were done with with that game we finally got to see our rooms that my group would be staying in. My room was 204, Moose, and I would be staying with Louise, Ashlee, and Anna. We girls unpacked and got right outside to find out our leader and group for hiking throughout the time. I got the leader Toby got a really fun group. When we got with our groups and got completely ready, we headed off for Welton falls. On the first part of the trail we saw a rock sculpture thing and my group had figured out that it had to of been a basement to a house long ago. The next big thing we stopped for a tippy toe tree, those are trees where the trunk of it looks likes it is on their tippy toes. When we stopped for lunch my group decided to sit and relax as a nice soothing stream flowed by us. We packed up and got a little down the path we we had to cross a stream. Our group sketched and look for wierd insects that lived in the water. Finally we were there, Welton Falls! It was beautiful because there were old broken down fences that showed human environment interaction, also there was trees on the path that showed how the enviorment changed humans and there were amazing sites! When we got back to the campsite near the lodge with picnic tables we sat down and took a rest. Toby let us go early so that we could get in the showers first, then for dinner was tacos. Those were pretty good but my table had no ORT, yes! After we got pjs on and went down stairs to hear a pirate story and then went to bed. That night my group could not fall asleep for like 30 minutes. But luckily after a while us four went to sleep!
