Day 3 Regions:
It was the third and last day and we woke with a start, ready for our day ahead! When we finished getting ready, we went down to French toast in the dining room region (still no ORT). After that we Gathered on the front lawn outside of the lodge and eventually hiked into the woods toward welton falls. Along the way we stopped at a cool old cellar hole in the ground. We sketched then kept going. We also stopped and played a game where someone would hide a clothespin on a tree and the others would try to find it. We also found a wierd tree with a big hole in the middle of it. Then we arrived at the Welton Falls region. We sketched and the walked up to the river that fed the falls. When we got there, we dropped our packs and explored the caves and rocks in the water. They were so cool that we spent a while walking around on them! We finally left and on our way back, we did many sketches. One of which was of some really cool lichen. We also found a geocache box which we carefully put back into its place. Then, after a while we had lunch on a ledge over looking the river. When we were full we played a game called camoflauge where you would hide in the woods and try to blend in with your surroundings. I almost won the second round. When we got back from the hike we gathered for one last goodbye and then left Cardigan on the bus to go back to the highschool. The trip was over and we went home.
