I hear the rustling of my friends as they get out of their beds. Yet I am still sleeping. Of course, they get up early even though we stayed up late. But I am smart. I sleep in so I am not a jerk for the rest of the day. Mr. Woolner then comes and knocks on my door. He whispers that we do not have to get up but we should at least start thinking about it. Which made sense in a way. When I woke up, I was already dressed. So I had some time to kill before breakfast. All I did was pack my bag and walk around aimlessly. When breakfast came, It was okay, it could have been better though. When my table finished our breakfast, yet again we had cleared the table of its food, we all went up to get ready. I had packed already so again I walked around aimlessly listening to conversations. Then I decided it was best to go outside. So I brought my day pack with me and filled up my water bottles and my Camelbak. Once I met with the rest of my group, we were off. But then we stopped to play a game which was not very enjoyable. After the game we headed off for a while. But we took frequent breaks. And we just kept sketching! The group kept hiking until we reached the summit of Firescrew. Then we sketched at the top. Which was not very exciting either. Then we walked on the rock ledge to Mt. Cardigan. We kept walking. When we summited Cardigan we could see the entire region of Cardigan. It was beautiful. The we were very clear of our location relative to the lodge. We stayed up at the top for a bit and then headed back down. On the way down we stopped a lot but yet there was no need. We kept stopping and I was starting to get irritated. I truly wanted to just keep going when my leader told us to stop. We kept stopping and then we finally made it back to the lodge.
