red group D2B4
It was a dark foggy morning when my alarm went ofF, BEEP!! BEEP!! BEEP!! I raced to get out of bed get my clothes on and get out the door. My grandmother took me to the Everyday cafe before we had to leave. When I got to school I got out of the car I put my big, heavy, bright, pink, duffel bag in the trailer that Mr.Woolner was pulling behind his car. When the bus came around the corner all the boys went crazy and the parents instantly took off with smiles on their faces. The bus ride was crazy everybody yelling, things out of control and the bus driver kept yelling at everybody to get out of the ile. When we got there they made us go to the wet fireplace and sit for a few minutes while all the chapperons were chatting about where goes where. After they were done chit chatting we played a game of sharks and minnows, or whatever there verison was. After we finished the game they told us that we were going on a mini hike today and that tomorrow we would be going to Mt. Cardigan. Everybody looked at each other and was like, huh, oh come on we have to go a hike today. Then they said but wait before you go and get with your groups go get your bags and see Mr. Woolner for your bunk room number. Everybody raced to go get their bags and go upstairs to see there bunk room and get to the top bunk. After everybody settled in their rooms we were called down to go eat lunch, after our lunch we were sent back upstairs to get our warm clothes on and meet at the picnic table outside. When we were outside we go to get in our groups that we would be hiking with and we met our instructor. Our group was going to Welton Falls. On the way there we sketched a lot stopped at some cool places and stopped at a spot on the river where we got to take a break and looked for some cool water insects. When we finally reached our destination, we were sketching and out of nowhere you here oh no my paper. Lucy Bamford dropped one of her sketches over the cliff of the waterfall and tobey actually went down and got the paper. After that catastrophe ended, we hiked back up the hill and decided to eat some indian cucumbers, we picked them out of the ground and then just ate them, I of course didnt but a lot of other people did, yet I did try it. After we ate our indian cucumber we headed back to lodge. When we got back the girls instantly ran up to the showers. When everybody was back from there hike we all had some free time to do whatever we wanted to do. When our time was over we headed down for dinner, we had tacos and for dessert we brownies. When everybody was done eating dinner we were sent upstairs to go get some extremely warm clothes on because we were going for a night hike in the dark blindfolded while we walked from the lodge through the parking lot then down a very steep hill where someone actually fell, and then around a huge pond, where annie stepped in a puddle. Everybody in my group was mysteriously wondering where the heck we were going. When everybody too off their blindfolds we were at the other side of the pond across from the parking lot and no where near the Cardigan lodge. When we were there we played a game, it's where there's a bat and a moth and the bat tries to get the moth by clapping, so the bat would clap once and the moth would clap twice but the bat is also being blindfolded. When we were done with our game he made everybody sit down and he told a pirate story to our group. When it was time to come back inside, he was being nice and didnt blindfold us. When everybody got back they went upstairs and got their pjs on. When everybody got their pjs on they came downstairs and talked on the couch, for a while we were playing a game and then we started laughing when blackout all the lights went out and Mr. Woolner turned on his flashlight and read his story. After he finished his story he sent us all up to bed, we all got in bed talked about gossip and then night night.
