Day 3 at Cardigan...the Last of the Three

On the third and final day there was not as much that would be going on that day, just activities that were more chilled out. Today was focused on pond studies, which means what you think it means. For breakfast we had french toast and sausage. Our ORT that meal was just 0.1 pounds! We were then sent off to gather our all of our things besides our gear that we would need for the day and throw it into the trailer bed. We met at our meeting spot and soon after, we walked over to the pond. We talked about what animals lived in the different regions of ponds, and maybe where the water came from. We collected some bugs, a few salamders, and a frog. We even found a couple of wolf spiders! After we ate our lunches we continued to study the pond for awhile.
After we were done, we went up to the field near the lodge and fooled around while we waited for the other groups to arrive. When everyone got back, we had a short amount of time beofre we were going to be getting on the bus. So, Mr. Woolner directed a game of Captain's Coming (kind of like Simon Says).
