Day 2 contained no rain, unlike most all of day 1, which meant everyone went on the hike up 1-2 mountains; but first, everyone had to eat breakfast. Breakfast consisted of an arrangement of fruits, sausage, and bacon. After breakfast, there was another ort report, in which we had 0.7 lbs. After breakfast, everyone got their gear on, and met up with their group leader. At the meeting area some people got assigned specific roles; someone got the role of mapper, where they looked at the map, and lead the group the right direction; someone else got the role of leader, which told the group whether to stop, wait, or go, etc. This hike showed progression of movement, because everyone was in a constant state of movement up the mountains. Everyone walked up at least one mountain, which had to be Cardigan mountain at least. However some groups were able to walk up 2 mountains, which in this case would be Cardigan and Firescrew, which would lead to more movement for those groups. During the progression of the hike, there were frequent sketches happening. Sketches of leaves, trees, rocks, many sketches were done. At the peak of cardigan mountain, all of the groups met for a final sketch; which lead to the trip back down. Getting back to the lodge, there was an hour of free time before dinner, just like yesterday. After a dinner of tacos, and burritos, the ort report lead to a total of 0.2 lbs of ort, after this everyone went outside to do little advertising skits for cardigan lodge, after this, everyone went to bed, concluding day 2.
