This is a quiz that was found in the Sunday January 3 2010 Concord Monitor newspaper…. Answers are there, too. You need to read the question, and… if you KNOW the correct answer, that’s good… but you must still VERIFY that correct answer. And write out your source for that correct answer. And, MOST importantly, I want to you also write out your thinking process- especially for the questions you do NOT know the answer to. Can you eliminate any of the answers? How? And how did you search for the correct answer? Did you search the QUESTION, or did you search the possible answers?
Write it out! Be complete. A good paragraph per answer is what we are after here…

1. What are the three places that make up the points of the Bermuda Triangle?
I am going to use the dogpile search engine because I haven’t used it before and want to know if its good. I think the answer is A. I’m so tired. I used the search terms Bermuda triangle location. There were a lot of shnippet… lol. I chose the snippet Wikipedia. After checking, the answer is actually C. Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Food… the link to the Wikipedia webpage link is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bermuda_Triangle
I am going to use the search engine, google. I am going to use it because I am very familiar with it. I think that the answer is C, Brazil. Because Pernambuco is a tropical wood. I used the search terms Pernambuco state country.
As soon as I hit the enter key, the answer was in a snippet. And the answer was C. Brazil I was right. Here is the link.
http://www.brazil.org.za/pernambuco.html. I got 613,000 results in .45 seconds.
I am going to use Bing. I am going to use this because I need 5 of them I think that the answer is C because the Japanese have been around a long time I am going to use the search terms, Nara, japan 2010. I noticed that, same as before, the answer popped right up to the right. I found out that I was wrong. The answer was actually B. 1,300 years (in 2010). All the websites said the year that it was established. This is the link http://wikitravel.org/en/Nara
I am going to use the search engine duckduckgo.com. I need to use 5 search engines. I think that the answer is b. because I know that this exists but I don’t know where it is. As I was searching for the answer the answer popped up before I was even done typing. I was right the answer was B. a giant patch of garbage. And this is the link http://education.nationalgeographic.org/encyclopedia/great-pacific-garbage-patch/
For question 5 we are going to 4 different web sites. Ask.com, aol.com, duckduckgo.com and google. The search terms are Hagias Sophia. The first thing I saw when I searched for the item ask.com and aol.com had ads. I think that the answer is A. Both aol and ask opened In a new tab. After the ads there was the same links to the same location. I was right, the answer is A. Istanbul, Turkey. It’s a museum that previously was a Byzantine Christian Church and a mosque.

I am going to use google because it is reliable. We are going to use an advanced search this time we are going to try to limit the domains like .com .gov .edu and .org I think that it is b. The answer is actually B I was right.
I am going to use the search engine Bing because it is my
second favorite search engine. I think that Devonshire is near the Scottish border.
I used the search terms Devonshire southwest England. When I searched for
Devonshire I found out that it doesn’t exist. Ether it was renamed or it was
destroyed but it probably was just renamed. I was wrong it was actually B. Southwest England.
I am going to use the search engine duck duck go because I need to use it to find the answer. The search terms I am going to use are Adirondack mountaian
