Day 2

Day 2:

After waking up to the overslept hour of 6 oclock, I got up to the roarous crowd of two people downstairs waiting for me. apparently most people in my grade are NOT morning people. After a longer-than-it-needed-to-be amount of time, and a few people had gotten up, we told horror stories until everyone got up. next, we had a breakfast of sausage and eggs. Since we were going on a hike for the rest of the day, we had to pack a bag lunch of a sandwich, a fruit, and a cookie about 5 inches across. Soon after, we reunited with our groups and started up the mountain. My group hiked up firescrew mountain, one of the five mountains in the range, cardigan being the tallest. We hiked firescrew, across the saddle, and to cardigan. it was a strenuous hike up the mountain, so we stopped regularly and either sketched(displayed on all pages), ate, or studied the area in detail. once we stopped to lick a slug.. Yay!!!!!1!!!!!1!. on our way down the mountain, our group would randomly break into song and have a full fledged jam session down the mountain. We, we have fun here. after the hike, we all ate a well deserved dinner, and then proceeded to, once again, tell stories and go to bed.
