We got up and got ready for the day. We all went downstairs and got the day plan. We all ran up stairs getting ready for the big hike. When we were all ready our groups met in their spots and talked about today. Eventually we got outside and started our journey up Firescrew. We stopped every now and then to make sure we were all hydrated and fed. We kept on blazing the trail up. At one point we stopped to eat lunch on a big rock surface on the mountain where there was an amazing view already, it wasn't even half way up yet. You could see a big lake and mountains for miles and a bunch of wind turbines. Then when our group was all finished taking a break we all started up again. Finally. we reached the top of Mt. Firescrew. All we had to do was go across the saddle of Firescrew and Cardigan. When we were a few steps from the very top of Mount Cardigan we saw most of our friends waiting to congratulate us. After that the top was a beautiful sight to see. We only spent about 20 minutes up the top until we took a group picture. The hike back down felt like it was
