Cardigan Mountain is in Alexandria and orange New Hampshire the summit is split between the two towns.It is west of Newfound lake, east of Canaan. There are mountains on the side one is orange mountain,and the other is firescrew. Cardigan is the biggest out of the three. one of the amazing things is that the mountain layers you can see as you're walking it really switches.It goes from a bunch of trees to the same of one tree to birch and rock.
Mount Cardigan is a very interesting environment there are a bunch of trails going everywhere. The lodge is very old and the lifestyle there is very old also. The people there are very nice and they know a lot about nature and the area. The trails are clear and kept clean. The cabin has really nice food and the cabin itself is very super. Also the cabin can fit a lot of people. The nature trails all lead back to the same place but are a nice walk.
Cardigan mountain is near Bristol New hampshire and in the middle of the towns Alexandria and Orange New Hampshire. The elevation of cardigan mountain 3,156'. from the top you can see all around with a bunch of mountains and a lot of trees and if you're on the north side of the tower you can see a town.
