Cardigan Mountian Day 1

Matthew M.

Yellow color group

Today was Wednesday

We got of the bus. Rain was pouring down on us, while at the same time we had to get all the gear off the bus and into the lodge. After we did that two instructors Hope, and Tabitha played games with us. Then we got sorted into groups and the fun started! In my group we went out to the pond to test how healthy the water really was. This is an example of human enviormental interaction. We did that by catching insects (different species). The reason why this works is because the healther the pond is the more insects want to live in it. We were quick to find out that the pond was quite healthy and full with different kinds of insects. After the hard morning we went inside to have a well earned lunch. Once lunch was gobbled up we went out to take a stroll to learn about leaves and trees of all sorts. After dinner we went on a night hike and learned how animals see in the dark. after that we went to bed.
