Cardigan Mt. is located in Alexandria and BristOl, in west New Hampshire. Cardigan is one of meny mountains near there. It is part of the appalachian trail.It lies on the divide between the Connecticut river and Merrimack River watersheds. The summit is completly rock slab.
Cardigan Mt, is located south of Hopkinton NH, and east of main. Cardigan mountain is located at 43 degreres 64 mintes 98 seconds North, 71 degrease 91 minites 48 seconds West.The higest elivation is 3155 feet or 962 meters at the summit.The Prominence is 1923 feet up. Our school is at about 400 degrese up but the lodge was at 1000 and the peak was 3000 WOW.
Cardigan is one of three mountians on the Appalachain trail. The other two are Orange and Firescrew.The lynx romed the mountian meny years before everyone came in and they left. There had been hunderds of them but not anymore, there are none. The land went from lots of trees to shurbs as we went up, And at the very top there was little to no plants.It was farily warm at cardigan but got windy and colder when we got higher up. It was the coldest when we where at the summit. The trees were mostly pine at the higest point.
