On the third day,I located the theme, regions all over the base of Cardigan Mountain. Regions are areas defined with characteristics. On the third day we studied Bailey's Brook, which we defined with characteristics. For instance I could describe it saying, It is a river with salamanders and water spiders and a great dam made of trees. There was also a bridge with metal under it. You could see many tiny waterfalls and the area was filled with rocks of all sizes and was beautiful to study. We also hiked to get to Bailey's Brook, which was also a region because I could explain it and anyone else could picture it. It was a hike which was filled with trees changing color. The pathway was dirt, not light brown, but dark like the bark of a tree. There were roots from nearby trees running into the dirt, and making it hard not to trip. These are examples of regions at Cardigan. After that fun exciting trip we boarded on the bus, and I finally realized how tired I felt. This was the most fun exciting trip at Cardigan that I know.
