September 27- September 29 2015

There were many things that our group saw on the hike to the top of Fire Screw and Mt. Cardigan. We saw a total of 21 windmills, a shadow from the clouds above trees in a short distance and a lot more! We got to go down a ski trail, and on the way down and on the way we saw a first aid shed that had a first aid sled in it. It was really windy on the top of Cardigan than it was at the top of Firescrew. On the way back down to the Cardigan Lodge we saw a helicopter that had tried to land on the top of Mt. Cardigan, but it didn't land on the first try. We had done sketches on the way up, and on the way down. We got back to the lodge around 4:30pm and everyone took a shower and went downstairs to play cards, or just hang out. Dinner was at 6, around 8 everyone was done cleaning up all the plates and silvawear. Our teacher Mr. Woolner read us a blackbeard story and a few others. While he was reading the Blackbeard story... he stood up onto the coffee table! On September 28th 2015... it was the night that the lunar eclipes was going to happen. While Mr. Woolner was reading all of us kept on looking out the window! When he was done reading his stories be got to go outside and watch it. by 9;30 we had to go inside and get ready for bed... but the people who I was rooming with (6 people) we all went into the bathroom and looked out the window to watch it happen! The moon had finally started turning red! It was so cool!
