The geographic location of mount cardigan is one unique in its own ways. Cardigan is also located north of the river town of East Grafton. Cardigan is located south of North Groton. Located west of alexandria, and east of Orange. Cardigan is located in the fine state of New Hampshire, and is located on the town line of Orange and Alexandria. the location of an owl pellet we found near the summit was North 43 degrees 39 minutes and 9.1 seconds and at West 71 degrees 54 minutes and 52.1 seconds. The elevation at the summit of mount Cardigan is 3,156 feet. It is also located in Mount Cardigan state forest and Mount Cardigan state park. Overall Cardigan is located in a neat spot where many different towns are located.

The physical place of mount Cardigan is one that can not be rivaled by any other. Mount Cardigan is obviously by its name a mountain, but it is also in a range of mountains including Orange mountain and Firescrew. Mount Cardigan is also surrounded by many rivers and lakes. On the mountains there were many types of rock but mostly granite and tiny bit of sedimentary rock but mostly metamorphic rock. The trees on the mountains were mostly pine and white birch with a few maples and oaks as well. The atmosphere was very clear with no smoke or smog, and there were few clouds. The temperatures were cooler up at the top of the mountain because of the high speed wind. Overall, Cardigan was a clean place where the nature was undisturbed unlike many place today making it important that it stays this way.

The cultural place of cardigan is very special, and is one of a kind. Cardigan is located in the Cardigan state forest and the Cardigan state park. It is also located near the Welton falls state park. The place we stayed at was a dwelling call the Cardigan AMC lodge and was staffed by AMC workers. The food was very good and it included chicken, pasta, cake, eggs, french toast and many other delicious delicacies. The people there were very friendly and outgoing and willing to help everyone. The trails we hiked on were marked very well and very easy to follow, some trails were harder than others like the Alexandria ski trail. There were not to many hikers but all the ones we met were very friendly. Overall, the culture at Cardigan is a very nice and more should be like it.

We were at cardigan for three days a mostly beautiful sunday, an amazing monday and a super duper rainy tuesday.
