Day one at cardigan started with an early rising at about seven. We got to the bus and left by eight thirty A.M.. This is an example of movement, which is one of the five themes of geography. It is movement because this is a movement of people going to a new place for a specific reason. When our bus arrived at cardigan we got off and met the leaders we would be with for the next few days. Then we played a few games out in the front lawn. After this we got into our groups and started to do things. My group used compasses to find spots where we would draw things. Finally after walking around for a while and drawing many things it was free time. During this time we went outside and played. After this was dinner, the meal was very good. Next we did a thing called the ORT report. During this we sang a song, but the ORT was all the food that could not be composted like bread. But, the food that could be composted is a good example of human environment interaction. This is because the composted foodbreaks down into a dirt substance which can then be put back into the earth where more plants can grow from it. Overall, the first day at cardigan was a good one and had many examples of geographic elements.
