This is a quiz that was found in the Sunday January 3 2010 Concord Monitor newspaper…. Answers are there, too.  You need to read the question, and… if you KNOW the correct answer, that’s good… but you must still VERIFY that correct answer.  And write out your source for that correct answer.  And, MOST importantly, I want to you also write out your thinking process- especially for the questions you do NOT know the answer to.  Can you eliminate any of the answers?  How?   And how did you search for the correct answer?  Did you search the QUESTION, or did you search the possible answers?

I think the answer is going to be B. I think this because I think I remember reading about it. In Dogpile I am going to type in Bermuda Triangle location. I will be using Dogpile because it’s a funny name. When I typed this in many answers came up. I found a Web site that said that Miami, Bermuda, Puerto Rico is where its located.

I am going to use google for my search engine. I am using google because it is a very popular and well known search engine that I usually use at home.  I think it is b. because it’s in the middle of both. It also seems like an average between both. As I typed on google there were not many answers popping up. I searched Nara Japan History. Most of the Snippets had the date 710 I have to do the math 2010 minuses 710 = 1,300 my answer was right. The answer was b. 1,300 years

In each of the bronzers there were mean snippets. On almost all of the brozers there were some of the same snippets. I am going to use Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Dogpile. I am going to use these search engines to compare answers with different search engines. In all my search engines as soon as I typed there were answers popping up. In google there was 807,000 results. The answer in all my search engines is A. Istanbul, Turkey.  It’s a museum that previously was a Byzantine Christian Church and a mosque.

I typed in Kampar River Site:*.edu and many web site came up. There was a web site where you could not read the word because were faded. This web site said that B. Gopeng Malaysia is were Kampar River is located. The curect answer is Gopeng, Malaysia.

As soon as I typed Adirondacks there were many answers. There was even an answer that said Adirondacks NY. I found a web site that said the Adirondacks were in NY.
